Hi Everyone, Steve here. Your run of the mill student and all around awesome guy.
During the past few weeks I have been checking out the work of DJs from around the world. Chris, my DJ duo buddy is enthusiastic about us playing at different late night concerts. During the past few months, we have played in over a handful of parties, and we have received an overwhelming response. It has given us a great boost and we are trying to come up with original beats next year.
We want to become like the Skrillex & Diplo duo. These guys are the hottest duo making the most upbeat and fantastic electronic music in this age. What a wonderful job they have done with Justin Bieber, when they produced ”Where Are Ü Now”. I remember the day when I first listened to this song, I put it on repeat for the next 6 hours. I just love this amazing creation produced by my favorite duo.
The latest album by the duo Jack Ü features amazing tracks and collaborations with Missy Elliot, Justin Bieber, Kiesza, 2 Chainz and AlunaGeorge. They won the Grammy for Where Are Ü Now, the track in the most successful international single today by the duo.
There is also a trio that Chris and I both love, Hardwell, Dannic and Dyro are the most talented DJs of all times. Together they have created wonderful music and we have tried playing their tracks at our concerts this summer.
To date, Zedd is the youngest new sensation and does magic with his fingers. He has teamed up with Dillon Francis and produced some amazing music.
Calvin Harris is another amazing DJ from Scotland. His collaboration with Rihanna in ”This Is What You Came For” has broken all records for me. This is my most favorite track of Rihanna that plays in repeat in my car.
Chris and I have been working on some great music since the last two months and we are planning to launch our own band in the the near future. At the moment we are in the process of fusing different scratching techniques as well as experimenting with our favorite Transformer technique.
With all the advertising techniques I have learned I am going to use them all on launching our band next year. I am already working on launching ourselves on social media and we have put up a lot of flyers around campus.
With the response from our performances during the last two months, we have built a fan following already which makes me really proud of our band. We’ve worked really hard and spent nights together working on the beats. It is amazing how our combined skills have enabled us to produce great music.
We are currently focusing on our school which makes it a little hard for us to concentrate on music. But we are pretty much dedicated and plan to play at private parties on the weekends.
By for now,
